Strength Of Nature made a huge announcement in the hair care industry, revealing their acquisition of major brands Motion, Just for Me, Consort and Groom & Clean brands from Unilever.

The company also previously acquired the TCB brand’s business in Africa.

The CEO of the company spoke out about the announcement:

‘The Motions, Just for Me, Consort, Groom & Clean and TCB brands are beloved and trusted with a strong legacy, high awareness and great potential. Each provides an excellent foundation for renewed growth and expanded innovation,’ says CEO of Strength & Nature Mario de la Guardia.

Strength of Nature has had a long history of providing hair care products for women with kinky or textured hair. ‘Just for Me’ is a well known brand for kids.

Even writing this I’m singing those ‘Just for Me’ commercials from back in the day in my head, while envisioning a cute little black girl with four plated braids and barrettes at the bottom.

This is a great move for the organization that has been catering to ethnic communities for years.
