At the FYF Fest, Solange Knowles performed a rendition of Nina Simone’s ‘Young, Gifted and Black.’ She took the moment to instagram sharing her experience along with Dev Haynes, Moses Sumney and Soul trio KING.
“I truly feel proud to say in this moment I felt so young, gifted and black, something I for so long felt like I should never say out loud. I am so forever grateful for the moments I got to sing these words with such beautiful people, in front of such beautiful people.”
