“Star Wars” is coming from a galaxy far, far away to Disney theme parks. The Walt Disney company announced today that it’s developing two “Star Wars”-themed expansions to Disneyland in Southern California and Florida’s Disney World. The new 14-acre attractions will introduce a new planet from the films created by George Lucas. Disney CEO Bob Iger made the announcement at the annual D23 Expo in Anaheim, home of Disneyland. No opening date for the new “Star Wars” lands were given.
