There will be more than one diva next season when “Empire” returns. Mariah Carey is signing on for season two of “Empire.” The show’s creator, Lee Daniels, was on hand at the singer’s Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony Wednesday where he confirmed that she’ll be a guest star on the upcoming season coming this fall. Mariah has acted in several of Daniels’ films in the past, including “The Butler” and “Precious.” “The Hollywood Reporter” says that Fox has declined to officially comment on Mariah’s guest appearance, despite Daniels’ announcement.
