By the way, over $300,000 in winnings following American Pharoah’s Triple Crown win at the Belmont Stakes are still unclaimed. ESPN is reporting that over 90,000 $2 bets for the charismatic colt haven’t been cashed in. Those bets are worth $3.50 each but some folks are choosing to list their tickets on eBay instead and they’re raking in as much at $30. If winners want to cash in their tix, they have until March 31 of 2016 to get it done.
