Website, “I Love Old School Music” is reporting the death of one of the legends of funk music, bassist, Louis Johnson. Johnson was one half of the legendary duo The Brothers Johnson with best known for their hits that made us all jam including “Strawberry Letter 23,” “Get The Funk Out My Face,” “I’ll Be Good To You,” and so many more.  Johnson died, according to reports, on Thursday.  Funkmaster, William “Bootsy” Collins offered his condolences on Facebook. Collins said, “Another brick in our music foundation has left the building.” He went on to encourage “Funkateers” to share love for Johnson on his day of rest.
