The final day of the NBA regular season is here and there’s still a lot to be decided. The eighth-seed in both the Western Conference and Eastern Conference is still up for grabs. New Orleans can clinch it in the West by beating the Spurs at home. If the Pelicans lose, they leave the door open for the Thunder to sneak in if they can take down the Timberwolves in Minnesota.

In the East, our Indiana Pacers are coming off a double overtime win against the Wizards at Bankers Life Fieldhouse Tuesday night. The final score was 99-95, which was actually pretty low-scoring. However the Pacers can clinch the final spot–coveted number eight–with a win on the road tonight to Memphis where they take on the Grizzlies. The backup plan is they still get the eighth spot in the East if the Nets lose to the Magic tonight at Barclays Center.  Remember the Pacers’ “Hump Day-Tax Day 2015 Formula”–If the Pacers lose and Brooklyn wins, it’s over for the season for our “Blue ‘n Gold.” The Nets will head into the postseason and the Pacers will head to their favorite vacation retreat.
