Putting his money where his mouth is again, Magic Johnson says he is ready to invest in the great city of Detroit. The NBA legend and Michigan native said at the Fuel Detroit conference on Monday that the details of the plan by a team he’s involved with will be released soon. Johnson said his developer is in the process of lining up retailers to set up shop at the former state fairgrounds site. Johnson’s Magic Plus team bought the fairgrounds from the Michigan Land Bank Fast Track Authority two years ago for over $4.5 million dollars.
