U.S. military commanders are urging American service members to hide information about their family so they don’t become terrorist targets. U.S. Northern Command warned troops in a memo sent earlier this month, that it could be dangerous to use military slang in public or decorate their homes with items associated with military service. The memo also urged military members to avoid talking about where their children go to school in public or on social media as a safety precaution.
