A new program is launching in downtown Indianapolis to help the homeless and homelessness issues. It’s called “The Know Outletscampaign and it’s putting red and white parking meters in front of businesses to accept donations. The program which takes its name from those in the community who come together because they know outlets and can provide them to address the homelessness crisis, is organized and administered by the Coalition for Homelessness Intervention and Prevention (CHIP). CHIP says the money will go to outreach teams that provide food and services on the front lines to homeless persons. Learn more about the initiative and how you might get involved HERE.
