The National Football League is reportedly breaking a barrier. Various media reports say the league has hired its first-ever female official. Sarah Thomas who hails from Mississippi will work for the league this season. She’s not new to the NFL. Thomas was a previous finalist for a job in the league. She has been known for busting through the glass ceiling before. Thomas was the first woman to officiate a major college football game and a bowl game.
