Rapper 50 Cent may no longer be signed to Eminem’s Shady Records, but that doesn’t mean the two have cut ties with each other. In an interview with MTV News, 50 says Eminem opened the doors of his Detroit studio so 50 could record his song “Champions” from his next album, “Street King Immortal.” Eminem also contributed lyrics to the song. Fifty calls “Slim Shady” a “lab rat,” who’s most comfortable in his own studio. As for how it felt to be back in the lab with Eminem, 50 says it was a “really cool process” that felt more like fun than work.
No word on when “Street King Immortal” will be released.
