Spike Lee recently had a sit down with Fusion host Jorge Ramos and they talked about being black in America. One of the things that really stuck out that Spike Lee touch on was living in Post-Racial America since Obama has been in office. He mentions that many people thought that race would no longer matter because we have a African American president. Ironically, there have been many incidents involving police brutality that went viral bringing racism to light like Darren Wilson and Michael Brown. Lee also mentioned what he teaches his children about race.

“I don’t care who you are. If you are African American in this country, you know what the deal is,” he stated.
