Actor and comedian Tracy Morgan is having a difficult time recovering from June’s multi-vehicle accident on the New Jersey Turnpike, according to his attorney. Lawyer Benedict P. Morelli says Morgan relies on a wheelchair and it may be several months before he can walk again. Morgan was released from a rehab facility in July and is currently undergoing therapy at home.
A Walmart truck plowed into Morgan’s limo on June 7th, injuring four people and killing Morgan’s mentor and fellow comedian James “Jimmy Mack” McNair. Last month, Morgan filed a lawsuit against Walmart in federal court.
