Don Lemon has been in Ferguson, Missouri for a few days and talks about the latest in the shooting of unarmed teen, Michael Brown.
On the residents of Ferguson vs. the visitors in the city:
“Most of the people who live here are nice people. They wanted to talk to us and have their feelings validated. People are flying in and driving to be here. We’re being told by legitimate sources that there are people who are organized but are coming to cause trouble. People are coming from out of town because they want to cause trouble. They are sent by organized anarchists.”
On interviewing those arrested:
“I’ve interviewed some of the people that have been arrested. They say they were exercising their right to demonstrate, to protest.”
On the confusion among the police:
“From one night to the next you didn’t know what the rules were. There is a lot of contradiction here.”
