Don Cheadle is asking the audience to help fund his Miles Davis biopic, “Miles Ahead.” The actor has started a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo.com with the goal of raising 325-thousand-dollars before July 10th. Those who donate can earn everything from exclusive updates about the film to a golf session with Cheadle. Supporters who donate upwards of 12-thousand-dollars will receive VIP tickets to the film’s premiere. Cheadle points out that Davis’ “passion, his creativity, his fire have never been brought to life” on the big screen. Cheadle will direct the film and star as the late jazz musician.
