Inspire U: The Podcast

President Obama has had some weird interviews. Perhaps none  was stranger though than his latest with comedian Zach Galifianakis for his Funny Or Die skit series “Between Two Ferns.” Galifianakis perfectly executed the bubbling journalist character and Obama even answered questions like, “What’s it like to be the last black President?” Social media erupted after the video was made available, with mostly positive responses to the President’s comedy stylings.

With the March 31 as the deadline to sign up for the Affordable Care Act’s marketplace, Obama is trying hard to reach younger people – who experts say are key to the program’s success. His appearance with Galifianakis may have done the job. According to reports, the video has been viewed more than 10 million times and, on the day it premiered, traffic for Healthcare.gov was up almost 40 percent.
