Drivers in Indianapolis are surprised this morning to find prices at the pump below three-dollars.  That’s the lowest average since January.  Eighteen stations were pumping gas below three-dollars on Saturday.  GasBuddy.com reports the highest price was in June at four-23 per gallon.

A wild three-car crash on the final lap of the Grand Prix of Houston has injured more than a dozen fans.  Indy 500 favorite Dario Franchitti’s car went airborne and into the catch-fence, sending debris into the stands on Sunday. The “Indianapolis Star” reports Franchitti suffered a spinal fracture, a fractured right ankle and a concussion.

The Colts pulled out a come-from-behind win over the previously-unbeaten Seahawks 34-28 Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium.  Andrew Luck threw for 229 yards and two touchdowns as the Colts moved to 4-and-1.  The Colts will play at San Diego next Monday.

Real chicken meat makes up only about half of what’s inside a chicken nugget, this from researchers at the University of Mississippi. They found some national fast food chains are using a mix of chicken parts including cartilage, fat and bone instead of breast or thigh meat. The lead researcher said people might want to limit the fast food nuggets and start making homemade nuggets using chicken breast pieces as a healthier option. Read the study published in the “American Journal of Medicine.”
