What a beautiful day already and if the weather is anything like it has been through out the week we are in for a great weekend.  If you’re looking for things to do with the family this weekend, well check out some of the great events listed below:

  • It’s time for the 5th Annual Bikers for HVAF Freedom Ride in Indianapolis where they’re raising money for HVAF (Hoosier Veterans Assist Foundation).  Catered meal, entertainment and much more kicked off at 9am at the American Legion Post 64 off of Holt Rd.  For more information contact them at www.hvaf.org
  • October is just around the corner so the corn mazes are coming and you can find one out at Beasley’s Orchard in Danville.  It’s a four mile maze called “Beasley’s Corn Dog” and is going on now through Oct. 27th.  For more information contact Beasley’s Orchard at www.beasleys-orchard.com

  • Good Journey’s Expo is here at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds with a holistic health and psychic fair going on now until Sunday for $7.  For more information see www.goodjourneys.net
  • The Indianapolis Fall Home and Landscape Show is back at the State Fairgrounds inside of the Marsh Pavilion.  Admission is free and it runs until Sunday at 6pm.  For more information visit www.acshomeshow.com

  • Taste the Difference Festival finds it way to the city at over 25 local restaurants.  Activities for the entire family with entertainment, free health fair, plus more at the International Marketplace.  Visit www.Isacoalition.org
  • This one day festival is back with live music, arts & crafts, storytelling and so much more…it’s the 14th Annual Rocky Ripple Festival at Hohlt Park.  Food, beer, wine, and I could keep going but check it out for yourself at www.rockyripple.org
  • The Fall Festival is here at Our Lady of Lourdes Parish off of East Washington.  Carnival rides, food, games, Texas Hold Em and more going on now until 11pm tonight.  See www.olindy.org/fall-festival-school

  • CANivational Craft Beer Event is going down on Georgia St in Downtown Indy with over 30 breweries from across the US.  It’s all in celebration of canned American craft beer.  You must be 21 to enter; see www.canvitational.com
  • Groovin in the Garden Summer Music series continues at Easley Winery with live music performances and great wine.  This is the last day of the Summer Music series and it all kicks off at 2pm today.  For more information visit www.easleywinery.com

  • The Indiana AIDS Walk “Walk Around the Block” in Indianapolis is today with a community walk to support the Gregory R.   • AT 5pm check out all the Food Truck Eats at Grovin Beats at Mallow Run Winery that include live musical performances and great Mallow Run wines.  Admission is free so just bring your lawn chairs and enjoy from 5-8pm
