A new poll conducted by “60 Minutes” and Vanity Fair has tapped into the elusive mind of men and crafted the perfect woman, based on their responses. Here’s what guys — two-thirds of whom admitted a good woman is hard to find — say are the most important qualities in a mate.
Seventeen percent insist that having a sense of humor is important, 33 percent want someone smart, and 40 percent are drawn to a gal with maternal instincts. Being a good cook is only important to 3 percent of guys. And having steamy sex on a regular basis? Meh. Only 3 percent care about a woman with a healthy sex drive. Yet, when asked which television character is wife material, 23 percent of guys picked the ditzy beautiful blonde Penny from “The Big Bang Theory,” a college dropout-turned-waitress and aspiring actress, hardly known for her brains or motherly instincts. Read More
