Dear Tom,

My sister went to college in Louisville, Kentucky. After graduation, I talked her into moving down to Atlanta. She found a job at DeKalb Medical Center – where she is still employed.

One of her fellow employees was checking her out and invited her to a 4th of July cookout. When she got there, he introduced her to his friend Doug. They met, fell in love, got married and have been together for 19 years.

Charlotte is a loving wife and supportive mother of four — Amari (18) Janna (16) and a set of 11-year-old twins: Shayla and Trey.  She stays busy being a double cheerleader mom, her son’s number one sports fan and a taxi service for all the kids.

She is also in the P.T.A. and is a Sunday school teacher – plus she practices volunteerism – helping more people and donating more time and supplies than anyone I know. She’s also a mom to all the kids who hang out at the house afterschool until their folks come home.

With all those kids over day after day, that house needed a major spring cleaning. So while she was cleaning house, she made a list of some much needed home improvements – like minor plumbing, some carpentry, etc…

She would make a great Thursday Morning Mom. Thank you for your consideration.

Signed,

Debra Meadows
