Kim Zolciak has responded to her former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” co-star Kandi Burruss’ lawsuit by calling her a publicity whore.
As we reported earlier, Kandi and fellow songwriter Rodney Richard hit Kim with a lawsuit last month for profits made from her 2009 hit “Tardy for the Party.” Kandi claims the record was released without “authorization, license or consent.”

According to TMZ, Kim recently filed legal documents of her own, claiming Kandi’s suit is just a publicity stunt to promote her new spinoff show “The Kandi Factory” and asking a judge to toss the case.
“I really wish I could’ve had a conversation with Kandi regarding the lawsuit that she filed the day before and that I could’ve confronted. It’s so dumb and pointless and there’s a motive behind [it] to drum up publicity for her new show. That’s why it’s a publicity stunt and nothing short of that in my mind,” she said.
Kim goes on to say Kandi was not only paid for her contribution to the song, but overpaid $6,000.
