Free Flu Shots Today, Tomorrow and Friday!
The Marion County Public Health Department is offering free flu shots today. The vaccine will be available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Raphael Health Center on East 34th Street. Free flu shots will also be available on Thursday from 8 a.m. to noon at the Citizens Health Center on North College Avenue and from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday at the Shalom Health Care Center.
Still in the Dark
A lot of folks living in the Castleton Square area were without power this morning, thanks but no thanks, to severe storms that blew through overnight with 70 mile an hour winds. Nearly a dozen poles are down along E. 86th street and one crashed on top of the Costco gas station. About 3000 customers lost power.
Buy Liquor or Sunday?
Imagine being able to buy liquor on Sunday? That’s what some Indiana lawmakers are trying to make happen, but liquor store owners, believe it or not, don’t want that. They claim it would put them out of business by increasing costs to open up for a 7th day.

Golly! Shazam! Gomer Pyle Gets Married!
Gomer gets married. Yes, Actor Jim Nabors married his long-time partner, Stan Cadwallader. The two married in Seattle, Washington where gay marriage was recently legalized. The 82 year old Nabors says, he and his partner have been together for 38-years.
