The memories still haunt her. Whitney Houston’s mom is recalling the day she learned her daughter had died. In a new interview with Oprah Winfrey, Cissy Houston remembers the phone call of distress she received from her son on the fateful day. Cissy’s interview will air next Monday on OWN. It comes on the eve of the release of her new memoir “Remembering Whitney.” Next month will mark the anniversary of Whitney’s passing. The singer was found dead at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California on February 11, 2012 – just one day before the Grammy Awards. She was 48. All of Cissy Houston’s interview with Oprah will air on “Oprah’s Next Chapter” next Monday, starting at 10:00 pm Eastern.
