Is it really true? TLC is going back into the studio? It’s like a return of the 90s phenomenon. T-Boz and Chilli made it official, and confirmed that they’ve got something brewing.
“We’re going to still sound like TLC, evolving to whatever level we need to be at this time,” said T-Boz, who also announced news of a reality show in October.
“We’ve always grown throughout the years and have always had our own sound,” she said. “That’s what works for us and we don’t have to worry about anybody else. When that stops working, maybe we’ll hang up the towel, but that still works. We have to get into the studio and start feeling how we feel. You have to find yourself first then you find the path and then you have an album before you know it.”
It’s been a decade since the trio released an album, “3D.” This year also marks the 10th anniversary of Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes’ death.
Not to be funny or anything, but they’re considering bringing back back Left Eye like they brought back Tupac! Would it be weird? It seems like things are going that way anyhow. It could possibly work.
