Do not be too available

Men are excited by the thrill of working for something that interests them. Keep in mind though Don’t  go overboard with the hard to get philosophy. If you give him a hard time, he may just as simply drop pursuing you and this is certainly not the way on how to get a guy to make the first move.

Make sure that you practice perfect timing.

How to get him to make the first move is all about timing. At the first meeting, give him subtle hints that you are interested and be sure to look for signs that he is reciprocating. If your efforts don’t work –  shrug it off and move on. He is not into you and would not be worth the trouble.

When he asks for your number and he gives you his, DO NOT CALL him first.

Let him call you first. Do not pick up on the first ring, though. (That is if your phone has caller ID and you recognize his number) Don’t panic if he has not called right away. It usually takes him a few days to a maximum of a week before calling you to ask for a date. Agree on a convenient time for you and do not arrange your schedule around. But if he never calls you and you are very interested – call him maybe he lost your number.

And when date night finally comes, be relaxed and laugh at his jokes, look into his eyes and take part in his interests.

Ask him questions about his likes and dislikes and find a common ground. Do not mention a second date. Let him ask one from you again. Do not reveal too much of yourself at the first date. Tell just enough to capture his interests and make him want to know more about you.

REMEMBER – THIS DATE IS NOT A INTERVIEW – JUST BE YOU – HAVE FUN – TALK ABOUT SPORTS – DON’T EXPECT ANYTHING – SMILE AND WATCH HE WILL MAKE THAT FIRST MOVE TO REALLY GET TO KNOW YOU.
