Despite today’s rain & Monday Blues you’re probably having, everyone wants to make a good impression on their boss. Whether it’s to look good in hopes of getting that promotion you’ve been wanting, or to simply stay in good graces of your supervisor, impressing your boss is a good idea– so we have tip for you.
5.) Arrive early and leave late: Yes it’s common sense but you’d be surprised at who actually does this. While you may not be in your dream job yet, working as hard as you can where you are now is a key to getting there. Keep that in mind.

4.) Take initiative: Of course it’s great to do what your boss asks you and even do it correctly. But it also helps to go a step further to see what your boss needs, then ask them if they’d like you to do it for them. Be creative and think outside-the-box. Share your ideas, even if you think they are silly or no one will use them. Sometimes those are the ones remembered the most. Being proactive, remaining consistent and even learning new things will make you a hot commodity and the go-to person at work.
3.) Keep your word: If you say you will do something, or be somewhere, do it. Be a team player and the one your boss can depend on if everyone else bails out. Being reliable, honest and dependable will without a doubt help you stay on your boss’ good side.
2.) Show Results: Show your boss what you’re doing and how you being there helps make the company better. With the economy the way it is, prove to your boss as much as you can that they need you.
1.)  Be Pleasant: Stay positive and smile. Being the one at work who puts a smile on their coworkers and boss’ face can do wonders.  Show gratitude and that you are happy to work with them.Be sure to be genuine and authentic. You don’t want to come across as fake. And you may want to be careful of complaining openly, you never know who’s listening.
