The US Supreme Court has ruled that the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the health care reform measure passed by Congress in 2010 over fierce opposition from Republicans and the Tea Party, is LEGAL! Voting to uphold the basic structure of the law were Chief Justice John Roberts and Justices Ginsberg, Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan. Voting to have the law ruled unconstitutional were Justices Scalia, Thomas, Kennedy and Alito.
