Kobe Bryant and Vanessa Bryant will apparently not be get divorced . for now. That seems to be the official word from Tmz after it was initially expected that the pair would be calling off a marriage that had lasted for over eleven years. The couple first met in 1999 when Bryant was just 21 and three years into his Nba career whilst Vanessa – then Williams – was only 17.
Their marriage has endured plenty through Bryant being in the spotlight as one of the highest paid sportsmen in the US, with a sexual assault allegation in 2003 also proving a rocky period for the pair. It seemed that they’d finally be going their separate ways earlier in the year however, with rumors that Bryan had been unfaithful. However it now appears that Vanessa will not be signing the divorce documents, at least for now, as she and her husband are trying to work towards a reconciliation. The pair have been spending more time together, although he has apparently not moved back in yet.
It has to be said that divorce or no divorce, Mrs. Bryant has done rather well out of the whole thing with Kobe having already signed all the deeds to his three mansions over to her. Additionally, it would appear that there is nothing to stop her from filing the papers at a later date should she wish. So Kobe’s safe . for now.
