This has been a roller coaster of a week for Monica and Brandy. Both divas were riding the high of releasing a new duet since the 14 year old, “The Boy is Mine,” and were scheduled to perform the song at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy party. However, the news of Whitney Houston’s passing left the two in a state of grief where they opted out of the Clive Davis performance.
Brandy joined Monica for the live debut of “It All Belongs To Me” on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno last night. Brandy displayed why she’s your favorite singer’s favorite singer as powerhouse singer Monica did her thing. The duet will appear on both of the R&B songstresses forthcoming albums. Monica’s will drop first on March 27th and the date for Brandy’s new project is to be determined. What are your thoughts on the performance?
