*Singer Keyshia Cole didn’t exactly make a good impression with a judge in New Jersey, reports TMZ.

Cole was in front of the judge because she was being sued by a promoter who paid her $15,000 up front in 2006 for an appearance, but didn’t bother to show up.

The judge called Cole’s testimony “nonsensical” and even questioned her literacy.

The judge went on to rule against Cole and even dogged her out in her written opinion. She wrote that Cole’s testimony was “confused and at times nonsensical.”

And because Cole was reluctant to read certain documents, the judge concluded that Cole was illiterate. But when Cole did start to read the judge realized that she was literate.

Apparently it didn’t matter because in the end, the judge ruled against her and she’ll have to pay the promoter nearly $160 in damages.
