A little bit later this afternoon Indianapolis Colts quarterback Payton Manning will share with the public how his neck, and rehabilitation is going. Many folks are wondering what Payton will say, since the news of his most recent doctor’s visit was released to the media by he Colts yesterday.
In the statement that was released, Dr. Robert Watkins says that the fusion that was performed on Manning’s neck has achieved “firm fixation.” So there is speculation that Payton may announce that he’s going to start practicing with the team. What that means is any one’s guess. Will we see him in a Colts uniform ready to play a game this season? I doubt it. But it is good news that he can now start a more vigorous workout to test his necks stability, and really see if he’s the Payton of old.
