Today the Butler Bulldogs did something that no one thought that they could do. They took on number two seed Kansas State and won the west regional finals 63 – 56. If you didn’t get a chance to watch this game you missed a great contest. Butler took an early advantage over KSU with great defense and even better hustle. Kansas didn’t seem to be able to get their game together until after half time. Butler trailed only once in the game, and then scored nine consecutive points after the game was tied at 54 points. Today’s victory is Butler’s 24th consecutive win. As head coach Brad Steven’s announced to the crowd, “City of Indy, we’re coming home!” Indeed they are….GO BULLDOGS!!!!
