I just want to say how proud I am of Musiq Soulchild for being named the new Ambassador for the Susan G. Komen for the cure. Anytime an artist can us their celebrity status to impact the lives of the community in a positive way, you have to applaud them. Musiq and his manager and record lable were kicking around idea’s for a way to show unconditional love surrounding the single ‘Yes,’ and breast cancer awareness was the concept that came about.
After hearing about the video concept, the Susan G. Komen for the cure organization wanted to be involved and a partnership was formed, and Musiq was named the new Ambassador for the organization. October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and I can think of no better way to make you aware of how important you are than to share the video ‘Yes’ from Musiq Soulchild. Please remember to do your monthly self examinations, and make an appointment to be checked by a medical professional. Please!….we need you around!
