The R&B world is mourning today at the untimely death of Ohio Native Vesta Williams who was pronounced dead at just 48 years old. There are no confirmed details on exactly what happened but we will keep your posted with any other info that we come across. The only confirmed information is that she dies in a hotel in Los Angeles California.

Vesta releases a total of 7 albums between the years of 1986 to 2007. Although she didn’t receive multi-platinum crossover success she did have Top 10 and Top 20 chart singles with “Once Bitten, Twice Shy” “Sweet Sweet Love” “I’ll Be Good To You with Najee” and her biggest hit “Congratulations”

Other notable moments in her career include a cameo in the Mario Van Peebles Movie “Posse” and her part in the SWV Hit “Rain” with Norman Brown.

Our prayers go out to Vesta’s friends family and colleges.
