Contrary to reports, Whitney Houston is not in rehab nor planning to attend a rehabilitation facility in the near future.
Hitting back at claims issued by the National Enquirer earlier this week, Houston’s lawyer, Marty Singer, says ” Whitney is not headed to rehab. She is headed to Paris, where she will be continuing her world tour.”
As previously reported, Houston is booked through much of the spring with dates in Europe and has plans to tour the U.S. in support of her 2009 album “I Look To You”.
Calling the National Enquirer’s report “ridiculous,” including an alleged onstage collapse,’ Houston’s lawyer told Us Magazine:
“It is ironic that at the same time that the Enquirer claims it is deserving of a Pulitzer for journalism [for breaking the John Edwards-Rielle Hunter affair story], the tabloid is continuously publishing stories comprised of brazen lies cobbled together from claims made from anonymous sources.”
