Brandy and Ray J have worked hard to become chart-topping artists. Now the duo must work just as hard to take over the family business their parents are putting aside to enjoy retirement.

According to VH1, that task, along with their personal lives and music careers, will be seen in the forthcoming series ‘Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business”.

Set to premiere Sunday, April 11 on VH1, ‘Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business’ is an hour long, eight episode series.

“In this new VH1 series, viewers will get a first hand glimpse into the lives of the Norwood family unit and their family business – Rn’B Productions. Run by Sonja, Rn’B Productions features an impressive roster of musical artists including Brandy, Ray J and their father Willie, who also serves as the company’s vocal coach. But with Sonja ready to take a step down, Brandy and Ray J will have to fill her shoes quickly, while taking the family business to the next level,” reports VH1. “Will they have what it takes to continue to stay in the limelight while growing an entertainment empire?”

‘Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business’ premieres Sunday, April 11 at 9pm on VH1.
