Unreleased recordings and other forms of media from Michael Jackson are one step closer to being released over a several year period.

In a deal said to be valued up to $250 million, Los Angeles sources say the late entertainer’s estate has signed a distribution agreement with Sony Music Entertainment that will likely produce ten projects.

While it is unclear just what Sony will distribute in the deal, Jackson estate administrator John Branca tells the LA Times “We and Sony feel that the future for Michael Jackson is unlimited”.

Sources say the deal could include spreading audio across several projects, possibly theater, and potential films…
