Grammy Award winners Jill Scott and Maxwell are going on tour, not apart, but together this Spring !!
According to organizers, dates and venues are being finalized for a 20-city tour that will make rounds through much of the U.S. by July.
Set to kick off May 21st in Cleveland, Scott and Maxwell’s tour is likely to make stops in New York, Detroit, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Oakland, Los Angeles and Chicago.
Maxwell, catapulting off recent Grammy Award wins, will tour in support of the Platinum selling ‘BLACKsummers’night’ (Columbia), while Scott will be performing hits spanning her 10 year career starting with the double Platinum Grammy nominated debut album ‘Who Is Jill Scott?Words and Sounds Vol.1’. Scott will also highlight songs from the anticipated 2010 album ‘The Light Of The Sun’.
